Portrait painting with J. Flowers
Participants will have the opportunity to learn, firsthand, how an oil painting is created. J. Flowers, the artist, will explain color mixing techniques, values, shades, and the elements that make a successful portrait.

James Flowers has been an art lover all of his life. He is originally from White Castle, LA. Since moving to the DMV in 2009 he has exhibited internationally, nationwide, and locally.

I have always wanted to share my art with a many people as possible. I enjoy engaging with others and teaching them as well.
